What Is a PSSR Written Scheme of Examination?
A Written Scheme of Examination (WSE) is the document that defines which parts of a pressure system require examination, the nature of those examinations and when they must be completed.
For pressure systems within scope of PSSR, the Written Scheme must be in place before the system is operated and the relevant equipment must then be examined in accordance with it.
A suitable Written Scheme will typically identify:
